Cinematography is so much about instinct and intuition - you want the same range of experience going into behind the camera as what you see in front of it. Your life experience will come through the lens. 

I have strong hold towards different aspects of cinematography, the power of lights to reflect a situation, the perspective of shots to create mood, the setting of staging to build an environment or if it comes to play with shadows and abstract i goes into experimental zone to get something never seen, i behold these in such an aesthetically valuable manner just to take the best of what we could get at the production stage. 

All these are done to match director's vision and when I indulge in production i surrender myself to director's vision although retaining my aesthetic to save everything from going haywire. 

Cinematography is all about communicating through pictures to audience.
